Focus

This workshop helps workplaces, schools, and families support individuals returning to work, school, sports, or daily life after an experience with suicide, self-harm, or mental distress.

​

Participants

Ideal for managers, HR professionals, pastoral care providers, educators, coaches, and family members—anyone who provides ongoing support after a suicide experience.

Facilitator

Trainers with 20+ years of experience in suicide prevention and support.

​

Duration

One full day (8 hours)

What You Will Learn:

• Understanding Suicide-Related Experiences: Learn how to support individuals returning to work or life after suicidal thoughts, attempts, or loss.

• Postvention Strategies: Gain knowledge of the key elements of postvention support in a workplace or community setting.

• Grief and Growth: Understand the grief process and identify opportunities for recovery and growth.

• Setting Growth Goals: Learn how to help individuals set meaningful re-integration goals.

• Responding Appropriately: Know how to respond to:

  • A person with a suicide experience.

  • A person bereaved by suicide.

  • A team or organization affected by suicide.
